NDLEA Commander Tasks Ndokwa East Boss On Drugs Fight

The Kwale Area Commander of National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Mr. David Iwanger has tasked the Executive Chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Council Hon. Osilonya Vincent on a collaborative synergy in the fight against production, trafficking and abuse of hard and illicit drugs within his local government area.

Mr. Iwanger  a Deputy Nacotic Commander(DCN),  made the call, in Aboh, during a familiarization visit to the LG. Council Chairman following his recent posting  to Kwale Area Command of the agency. He congratulated Hon. Osilonya on his election victory, subsequent inauguration into office, and tendered the goodwill message from the state Commander of the agency.

Speaking further, the NDLEA Area Commander explained that it would be difficult to achieve the objective without the assistance of the leaders and solicited for the support, cooperation and synergy of the LG. Council with the Area Command.

Hon. Osilonya expressed his gratitude to the NDLEA Area Commander for the visit, highlighting that many cases of mental illness in the area have been linked to the consumption of hard and illicit drugs. He assured the Commander of unwavering support, cooperation, and collaboration from his office to aid in the effort to reduce or eradicate the production, trafficking, and abuse of illegal drugs.

The NDLEA Kwale Area Commander was joined on the visit by his Assistant Commander, Mr. Sunny Darlington, and other senior officers of the Area Command. They were received by the Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Osilonya, along with his Vice, Hon. Ekpo Cecilia, the Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Tunji Iyasle, and five Supervisory Councilors of the Local Government.
