The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Aniocha North Chapter has applauded Governor Sherriff Oborevwori for his outstanding performance since he assumed office about 14 months ago.
The group also commended the Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Emma Chinye for demonstrating responsible leadership within the short period he emerged as the local government chairman.
Speaking to The Pointer, the Chairman of the Aniocha North Chapter of NURTW, Francis Obi commended the governor for awarding a contract to construct the Old Lagos Road in Issele-Azagba linking Otulu Community in Aniocha South Local Government Area.
He further commended the Aniocha North Local Government Chairman, Emma Chinye for appointing natives of Issele-Azagba to help drive the GAINS mantra, adding that his emergence as chairman was the miracle that happened to the local government area. Obi said that the appointment of Issele-Azagba natives would further strengthen the synergy between the community and the government, stressing that soon the people would begin to feel the impacts of Chinye’s administration.
He promised that the NURTW Aniocha North Chapter would continue to drum support for not only the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but also Chinye’s administration.
