THE immediate past Senior Special Assistance to the Governor Okowa on Health Monitoring, Dr. Michael Nwoko has commended the present state Governor Rt. Hon. Sherriff Oborevwori for effectively supporting the local government electoral process of the just concluded election in Delta State.
He made this assertion while speaking to newsmen at the end of the inauguration of the newly elected Chairmen and their Vice under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
Dr.Nwoko recognized the enormous support the Governor, gave to the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) in a bid to ensure a free, fair, credible and transparent process of election that eventually gave vent to the people’s choices and thereby restored their confidence in the government of the day.
Nwoko also commended the very profound support of the Most Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing the Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Prince Ned Nwoko to the nine local government areas in the Zone.
According to the Doctor, Ned Nwoko, not only was on ground to cast his vote to his party’s candidates but also effectively monitored the process across various voting centers to ensure that the process was seamless and credible.
