The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ika South chapter, held a significant strategic Council meeting at the council secretariat to discuss critical issues affecting the youths of Ika land.
The meeting, chaired by Comrade Christian Izegede, brought together executives and ward councillors of the youth council to discuss pivotal issues affecting the community and its youth.
In his opening remarks, Comrade Izegede congratulated the youths for their unwavering support during the recent local government elections. He expressed gratitude for their trust in the leadership, highlighting the importance of their votes in shaping the direction of governance.
Comrade Izegede took the opportunity to remind the just recently elected councillors, chairman and vice chairman of their promises to the electorate. He emphasized the need for every officer to remain committed to their campaign promise and to prioritize the interests of the people they serve.
Comrade Izegede assured the attendees that the youth council would continue to advocate for their interests and work tirelessly to address their concerns.
