Oborevwori’s Critics Risk Divine Wrath –Deacon Odugala

BY PATRICK MGBODO

A prominent environmentalist and civil society leader in Delta State, Deacon Okezi Odugala has called on Deltans and residents to rally behind Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in delivering the MORE Agenda, a social contract aimed at advancing the welfare of the people.

In a statement issued to The Pointer yesterday, Deacon Odugala emphasized that the Governor’s ascension to power is part of a divine mandate, and urged political detractors to exercise caution, warning them not to provoke God’s wrath through their actions.

Odugala expressed concern over ongoing negative propaganda and attempts by certain disgruntled individuals and political opponents to tarnish the Governor’s image.

According to him, “It has come to our notice that several disgruntled persons and political opponents are spewing negative propaganda against the Governor with the intention to distract and blackmail him before the public but we have a Governor that is committed to delivering good governance which is visible to even the blind.

‘’Governor Oborevwori’s ascension and sustenance as Governor of Delta State is a divine agenda that no one can stop and we advise those distractors to be careful not to incur the wrath of God.

‘From the onset of this administration till date, we have carefully observed that the Governor is committed to changing the developmental narratives of the state positively as a man that fears God and has the interest of the citizens at heart.

‘’We advise the political jobbers and enemies to desist from their evil works as the citizens are abreast with the good work of the Governor which even those outside the shores of Delta State can attest to with the numerous commendations and awards from reputable international and national organizations.

‘’The political future of the Governor is in the hands of God and not any man and he remains a winner, not minding the negative propaganda and blackmail.

‘’We are ready to continue to work, pray and praise God for the Governor and Delta State for we are in the promised land already; for the Egyptians, we saw before we shall see them no more’’ he said.
