A public analyst, Comrade Oscar Onorose has asserted that Chief Toni Ofoni and Hon Andrew Agagbo’s emergence as the Chairman and vice chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council is a blessing to the Uvwie Local Government Area.
Onorose asserted in a chat with our correspondent while reacting to the announcement of Chief Toni Ofoni as the winner of the Uvwie Local Government Council Chairmanship.
He said that Uvwie residents would gain from the experience of the new Local Government chairman as a grassroots politician who has a cordial relationship with the masses, the palace, Uvwie General Improvement Union (UGIU), Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Worldwide, and the State Government.
He also said that Chief Ofoni was also connected with multinational companies. “The people of Uvwie Local Government will, no doubt, benefit from his wealth of experience as an astute administrator”.
While Onorose noted that the new Vice Chairman, Hon Agagbo is up-to-date with the operations of the Local Government Council “He is humble, forthright and God-fearing.
Onorose noted that Uvwie residents are lucky to have Chief Ofoni and Hon Agagbo as their chairman and vice chairman, respectively.
