TRADERS in Ogbeogonogo market Asaba, have extended gratitude to the Delta State Government for mitigating the problem of flood in the area through the construction of drainage in the market environment.
This was made known to our reporter by some traders, during a visits to the market in Asaba.
They said that the commencement of work at the site would help the easy flow of drains and reduce flooding.
They appreciated the wisdom of the Governor in ensuring that work kicks off earlier before the rainy season. They commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his developmental strides in the state.
One of them, who spoke with our reporter, Mrs Katherine Nnaji advised traders to desist from littering the drainage channel with waste.
Nnaji urged traders to cooperate and ensure they report to authorities anyone found defaulting.
