Oghoro Ruling House Joins King Ngbelibri’s Rite of Passage

A delegation from the Oghoro Ruling House of Olomu Kingdom have participated in the rite of passage for the King of Ngbelibiri Mein Kingdom, Kiagbodo.

The event is of great cultural and historical importance, as the Oghoro Ruling House shares deep historical ties with the Ngbelibiri Mein Kingdom, having been co-founded by Oghoro, the brother of Igbile, who founded the Ngbelibiri Mein Kingdom.

The delegation from the Oghoro Ruling House was accompanied by traditional war dancers and Udje performers from Ovwodokpokpo Olomu, adding a vibrant cultural display to the ceremony.

This participation highlights the longstanding cultural heritage and unity between the two kingdoms.

The significant event, featured the presence of various esteemed personalities and cultural groups, symbolizing unity and continuity within the region’s traditional institutions.

Their presence at the ceremony underscores the importance of the event and the deep-rooted connections between the Olomu and Ngbelibiri Mein Kingdoms.
