Ogor PDP Passes Vote Of Confidence On Kpuwhara

STAKEHOLDERS of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ogor ward have passed a vote of confidence on a party chieftain, Olorogun (Hon.) Anthony Kpuwhara, describing him as a huge asset to the party.

In a statement, the stakeholders said he was instrumental to the party’s victory at last Saturday’s local government election.

Addressing party faithful at Oviri-Ogor community, in Ughelli North local government area, Mr Peter Ogoh and Hon Harvest Eghwrudjakpor called on members of the PDP to  stand by their leader and hold the party firm.

According to them, Our foremost national leader of PDP in Ogor deserved our continued support and prayers because since assumed the position, the party is waxing strong.

“Olorogun Hon Kpuwhara Anthony is somebody that spend his hard earn resources in building our party and at the just concluded local government elections, he was everywhere in ensuring that elections in Ogor was without violence.

“With all other meaningful contributions toward the success of Ogor PDP, we had no options than to pass a vote of confidence on him for his pragmatic leadership qualities.

It would be recalled that prior to the meeting on the vote of confidence, the chairman of Ogor PDP, Pastor Uyoh Emakpor called total commitment from member.

He said, “While I am asking for forgiveness if I may have offended anyone, I want to appeal for cooperation and commitment at all levels for PDP to win future elections.

“Let us cooperate with our leaders at the top, do the right thing, preach to other and bring other people to join us in Ogor, and Delta State”.

The motion for the vote of confidence was raised by Mr Peter Ogoh and seconded by Hon Harvest Eghwrudjakpor.
