Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has laid the foundation for the council’s administrative complex and commended Governor Sheriff Oborewvori for approving the project. Speaking to newsmen, Ogorugba said the purpose of the new administrative complex, a one storey building is to have all the management staff of the council in one place for efficiency, for the delivery of the More Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborewvori in the council area.
He noted that the administrative complex will contain all the management staff, the exco Chamber and conference hall, press centre, office of the Head of Personnel Management (HPM) and various heads of department of the council.
The chairman said a supplementary budget was formally passed and approved by the legislative Arm of the local government, adding that other features of the administrative complex include, visitors waiting room, solar powered system and 200KVA generator to compliment electricity supply. Ogorugba noted that by January 2025, a perimeter fencing of the secretariat and security gate, are other projects that the administration, will embark on, adding that staff clinic and nurses will be for the good health of staff towards effective efficiency. He emphasized that the duration for the project’s completion will be six months, just as funding will not be a barrier.
Architect Radiance Isu of Jumpars Construction Company commended Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba for his constant support for the speedy completion of the administrative complex, assuring that the project will be completed in four months.
