BY PRISCA OGBO

THE Chairman, Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation (DPPC), Olorogun (Dr.) Ebenezer Okorodudu has lauded former Minister of Niger Delta, Dr. Steve Oru on his 77th birthday, hailing him as the visionary architect behind his remarkable career strides.

In a heartfelt message yesterday, Okorodudu highlighted the important roles Dr. Oru has played in his life, describing him as a selfless and exemplary leader.

Recalling their first encounter, Okorodudu said their robust relationship began when he served as Secretary to the Research Committee that Dr. Oru chaired, adding that his career trajectory was transformed under his careful guidance and trust, which were instrumental in elevating the professional path that shaped him into the leader he is today.

“As Chairman of NBTC, PDP Deputy National Secretary, PDP National Vice Chairman (South-South), and Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, you graciously carried me along, affording me invaluable opportunities.”

“I had the privilege of serving twice as a commissioner in Delta State  and holding various offices since 2006. Your confidence in me led to my appointment as a member of the Board of Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, and later as your Special Assistant during your tenure as Minister” ,Okorodudu stated.

As Okorodudu joined others in celebrating this monumental occasion, he hailed Prince Oru as a paragon of leadership, who not only leads by example but also cultivates future leaders through sheer wisdom and integrity.

Dr. Okorodudu prayed that God grants Dr. Oru good health, long life, wisdom, prosperity, and to make his  days better than his beginning.
