The Chairman of Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation, Dr. Ebenezar Okorodudu, has commemorated the 24th anniversary of the passing of his beloved mother, Deaconess Cecilia Tobore Eboh, who passed away on September 3, 2000, in Lagos State.
In a heartfelt message, signed by Dr. Okorodudu on behalf of the Ovie of Ewu Urhobo Kingdom HM King Clement Oghenerukevwe Ikolo Urhukpe I, children and grandchildren, daughters-in-law, and friends, he reflected on the profound impact his mother had on those who knew her.
“Today marks 24 years since we lost Deaconess Cecilia Tobore Eboh, a beloved figure who left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Though she passed away on this day in 2000, her legacy of kindness, generosity, and compassion continues to inspire us all.”
Dr. Okorodudu described Deaconess Eboh as an extraordinary individual who excelled in every aspect of her life. “Words cannot fully capture the essence of her remarkable life. Her kindness, generosity, and compassion touched the lives of countless people.”
“As a devoted mother, she showered us with unconditional love and care. Her political acumen and leadership skills made her a respected figure in her community. Her dedication to the Christ Apostolic Church and her role as a women leader in both the church and politics left an indelible mark.”
“Her impact on our lives, and those of her grandchildren, is immeasurable. We remain eternally grateful for her presence in our lives. Farewell, dear Mother. May your soul continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord, in Jesus’ name, Amen” he stated.
Deaconess Eboh’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we remember her today, we celebrate a life well-lived and the profound impact she had on the lives of others.
