THE Member representing Ika North East Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Mrs.) Marilyn Okowa-Daramola, has expressed profound gratitude to her constituents for their support throughout 2024.
During a reflection on her accomplishments over the past year, Hon. Okowa-Daramola described 2024 as a significant and transformative period.
She acknowledged the economic challenges that marked the year but emphasised her success in fulfilling many of her campaign promises, reinforcing her commitment to prioritising the interests of the people she serves.
She highlighted the importance of acknowledging achievements despite obstacles. “We must take a moment to celebrate our successes, even amidst challenges,” she said, thanking her supporters for their encouragement. “I thank God for allowing us to reach the end of 2024 together in peace and joy.”
The lawmaker reaffirmed her dedication to effective representation, pledging to continue working diligently for the betterment of her constituency and entire state.
“2024 has been an incredibly tough year and nothing can truly prepare you for the weight of leading others through turbulent times. As I reflect on the past year, I celebrate our victories and pray that as we welcome 2025, we will continue to thrive,” she said.
