THE Isoko South Local Government Chairman, Hon Friday Warri has commended the state government via the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Delta State, Hon. Johnson Erijo for their swift intervention in the crisis that has rocked the royal stool of Olomoro community in the local government area.
Recall that peace was achieved after engaging in peace meetings between the warring factions, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Joseph Isike and the community Chairman, Mr. Lucky Ejoor at the office of the Chief of Staff to the Delta State Governor, Hon. Prince Johnson Erijo.
This, however, led to the lifting of the suspension of the Odio-Ologbo necessitated by his actions which allegedly viewed as detrimental to the health of the entire community and a show of disrespect for the authority.
The resolution, which was further affirmed with the restoration of Mr. Lucky Ejoor to his position as the President-General of the community has been complimented as a welcome development which has finally ushered peace and stability to the community.
Meanwhile, the local government chairman, Hon Friday Ovoke Warri has appealed to both parties to henceforth uphold peace and sustain an enduring settlement, adding that it was crucial to advancing progress and development of any community or institution.
