MEMBERS of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oshimili South Local Government Area, today, kicked off a campaign in Ward 01, Oko community.
The members of Ward 01 came out enmasse to welcome the party’s candidate in the forthcomimg local government election, Hon. Obi Kelvin Ezenyili and his entourage, pledging their unalloyed support for him and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ezenyili, while addressing the people of Ward 01, promised to “perform even better if voted for a second term as the Chairman of Oshimili South Local Govern[1]ment Council.
He expressed commitment to bringing more development and positive change to all the communities in the local government area. The Oshimili South Party Chairman, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji urged the Ward members to come out in large numbers on July 13 and vote massively for Ezenyili and all PDP candidates.
Responding, a community leader, Hon. Somadina Anwasia emphasized that Hon. Kelvin Ezenyili is their son amd “has performed credibly well in his first tenure, therefore, the community will do everything possible in their capacity to ensure he comes out victorious in the forthcoming local government polls. Meanwhile, Senior Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Chief Edwin Uzor, appealed to the people to come enmass and vote for Ezenyili.
“Let’s join hands again and make history for the good of Oshimili South people under the leadership of Ezenyili”, Uzor added.
