LEADERS and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jeremi Ward 4 in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State, have passed a vote of implicit confidence
on the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
At two separate ward meetings held in Warri at Chief E.D.O Obofukoro and Rt. Hon. Samsa residence respectively, the stakeholders also passed a vote of confidences on the member
representing Ughelli South Local Government Area in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Festus Utuama.
In a motion for the vote of confidence on the governor, moved by Rev. Fr. Christopher Ekabo, seconded by Mr. Franklin Ogberi, which was unanimously adopted by the entire members, the stakeholders commended the governor for the way his M.O.R.E Agenda was impacting positively on the lives of Deltans, describing his administration as one with
human face.
While moving the motion, Rev. Fr. Christopher Ekabo, emphasized the developmental strides of Governor Oborevwori led administration for the past one year, commending the M.O.R.E Agenda of the governor in the area of infrastructural, human capital development,
peace and security in Delta State.
According to him, Rt. Hon. Oberevwori was the first Governor to award some multi-billion naira gigantic projects to a formidable construction company (Julius Berger) in Nigeria since the creation of Delta State.
“The governor is a prudent manager of our financial resources, in all the projects that are simultaneously going on in the state, he has not secure any loan for the past one year, he is working with the funds at his disposal”, Rev. Fr. Ekabo stated.
Also, Rev. Ekabo expressed Jeremi Ward 4 vote of confidence passed on Hon. Festus Utuama for his role in the House, the way he was performing his constitutional responsibilities as member representing Ughelli South Local Government in the 8th assembly and his effective collabora- tion with the governor in driving the M.O.R.E Agenda.
He also commended Chief E. D. O Obofukoro as the head of the elders/leaders in Jeremi Ward 4 for his peaceful contributions towards and the growth of PDP as well as the Ward
Chairman, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Samsaro December Saromare and his executive for leading the party into victory in all elections. He also moved for a second tenure for Hon. Samsaro December led executive in Jeremi Ward 4.
The Vice Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Happiness Mukoro and the councillorship candidate for Jeremi Ward 8, Mr Ododofo Samson were officially presented to the elders, leaders and members of party (PDP) in Jeremi Ward 4 by Very Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Christopher Ekabo and they
were unanimously endorsed for their respective positions while prayers was offered to
by Chief E. D. O. Obofukoro.
