PDP LG Chairman Seek DTSG Intervention Over Electricity Supply In Nsukwa, Environs

THE Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Aniocha South Local Government, Sir Peter Okwe, has called for the intervention of the state government in the ongoing lack of electricity supply in Nsukwa Clan which consists of all autonomous communities.

He also appealed for the repair of deteriorating roads in OgwashiUku that are causing significant discomfort for road users. Okwe made the call during a town hall meeting with the Senior Political Adviser to the Delta State governor, Sen. Emmanuel Aguriavwodo

He said that when the roads are repaired, it will enhance easy movement, as the bad state of the roads was a great challenge to the people.

Okwe however, said the executive of the local government through his Needs Assessment office has identified several essential needs within the communities to help promote progress and strengthen loyalty to the PDP.

He assured the governor of the dedication of the people of Aniocha South to PDP, adding that the legacy will continue with the dedicated efforts of their party leaders, as Aniocha South has long been a stronghold of the Party.

The Party Chairman said that in connecting with the newly elected ward officers and ensuring that they remain in tune with the voices of their communities, and continually finding ways for the party to thrive, that the council would embark on a familiarization tour across the Il wards in Aniocha South.

He commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration for the significant transformations it has brought to their communities, including new road projects and well-deserved appointments for committed PDP members.

Earlier the Senior Political Adviser, said Aniocha South was dear to the governor, as he holds the people of the Local Government in high esteem.
