The PDP Supporters Network, under the leadership of Comrade Paul Abaide, has launched an intensive campaign to secure the re-election of Okakuro Isaiah Onoriode Esiovwa (JP) and Mrs. Mary Otikiri for the position of Chairman and Vice Chairman of Okpe Local Government in the forthcoming July 13, 2024 local government election.

The   PSN mobilization efforts took a widespread engagement and a strong push for voters to support all the PDP candidates so that Okpe can get the full benefits of the MORE Agenda.

Addressing a gathering at Opuraja during the campaign tour, Comrade Paul Abaide, the State Coordinator of the PDP Supporters Network, emphasized the group’s unanimous vote of confidence passed on the  all PDP candidates standing for the upcoming elections. Abaide called on all residents of Okpe, both indigenes and non-indigenes, to ensure they have their Permanent Voter’s Card  (PVCs) ready for the election and to vote enmasse for Esiovwa and all the PDP councillorship candidates in Okpe.

Highlighting the achievements of Esiovwa during his first tenure, Abaide stressed the importance of continuity to further the progress initiated under his leadership. He noted that Esiovwa’s administration had brought significant benefits to Okpe local government area, aligning with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, which has delivered substantial dividends of democracy to the people.

Abaide also lauded the contributions of key figures within the party, including Hon. Dr. Joseph Otirhue, Chairman of the PDP Campaign Council in Okpe, Hon. Efe Uko, PDP Chairman, Hon. Chief James Augoye, member, Delta State House of Assembly, representing Okpe Constituency, Hon.
