THE Rivers State Police Command say they have gunned down a suspected Kidnapper identified as Gbarani Bume, a.k.a. Pelele, who is a native of Bere Community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko in a statement said the suspect was killed during a fierce crossfire between the Police Operatives and the hoodlums following a tip-off.
The statement said he was rounded up and neutralised at Luawii Community where the suspect and his gang were attempting to kidnap a site Engineer. She said the suspect has been terrorising Beree and Tabaa axis of Khana Local Government Area of the state
