THE General Overseer of a new-generation church in Eagle Island and Diobu, Port Harcourt, popularly known as “Elijah,” is currently under investigation by the Octopus (C4i) Strike Force unit of the Nigeria Police Force over alleged acts of homosexuality, this publication can confirm.
According to gathered reports, the pastor’s troubles began after explicit videos of him engaging in homosexual activities were leaked to the police by a male victim identified as Patrick. The victim, who had allegedly been receiving unwanted sexual advances from the clergyman, played along to gather evidence before reporting the matter.
A reliable source disclosed that the intended male lover secretly recorded a nude video of the pastor while he was making romantic advances and soliciting sex. Armed with the evidence, the victim reported the case to the authorities.
Acting on credible intelligence, operatives of the Octopus Strike Force tracked down the Rivers State-born pastor to one of his relaxation spots in Port Harcourt, where he was arrested and detained for questioning.
Further investigations revealed that the pastor has reportedly confessed to multiple other cases of homosexuality involving both adult males and minors within and outside Port Harcourt.
When contacted, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the inc ident, stating that investigations are ongoing.
