A source, who spoke to The Pointer under anonymity, disclosed that when the people of Ogbeozoma and their tenants received information that some people were destroying the properties of the tenants, they mobilized and went to the site.
He said that on arrival, they were confronted by the officers, as other people who came with them for the operation, took to their heels, adding that in the process the police aide to an Ogbeozoma tenant, identified as Inspector Sanni Taiwo was shot and later rushed to the hospital where he was receiving treatment as at press time.
