Delta APC’s Endless Political Goose Chase Exposed
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State has taken notice of the Delta All Progressives Congress (APC)’s statement advising Deltans not to expect meaningful development from the PDP-led government in 2025. This counsel comes despite assurances from the Delta State government, led by HE Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, to deliver more development projects in 2025.
The APC’s reaction is not only childish but also misleading. It’s clear that the APC Delta is struggling to keep pace with the development strides of the Oborevwori administration. The APC’s skepticism is unfounded, considering the administration’s efforts to address critical issues like infrastructure, healthcare, education, and job creation.
In a statement, the APC criticized the Oborevwori administration for its perceived poor performance in 2024. However, this criticism rings hollow. The APC’s claims that the only tangible project of the administration is the Effurun flyover construction are also misleading.
We urge Deltans to disregard the APC’s antics and keep faith with the transformative government of HE Rt. Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori. The MORE Agenda will continue to unfold with greater impact in 2025, delivering impactful, enduring, and legacy projects across the three Senatorial districts.
As a party driven by democratic vision and impactful leadership, we enjoin all Deltans and residents to expect more from the M.O.R.E Agenda. We also call on the leadership of the Delta APC to discontinue their political goose chase and join forces with the government of Delta State to fast-track development strides in Delta.
