PARENTS and guardians of the Isioma Onyeobi Mixed College, Asaba, Delta State, have appreciated the Principal of the college, Dr. Chukwuemeke Jonathan and the academic and non-teaching staff of the school for their outstanding leadership quality leadership exhibited towards the educational development in the state.
Some parents, including Mrs. Favour Ejechi, Chidera Nwafor, Chief Federic Onyeacholam, in an interview, said that though the school since it was established by the state government had proved its existence, through past principals of the school, the present principal, Mr. Chukwuemeke Jonathan alongside his team of teachers have added to the academic excellence of the school.
They said that the achievements made it to be recognized as one of the best secondary schools that has recorded a hundred percent in its WAEC and other external examinations till date in the state.
The parents described the principal in particular as a great disciplinarian that had the interest of the students at heart as well as carrying every one along, adding that the principal, as a result of his commitment, dedication to duties and cordial relationship with the teachers and members of the PTA of the school, deserved to be granted an exceptional award to serve as encouragement to him and others in the teaching profession.
The parents lauded the school head and his team for their unwavering commitment to their duties and the their academic works, in addition to instilling discipline in some erring students and prayed that God will continue to bless and grant them more wisdom.
