THE General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, Agbor, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, has hosted journalists, urging them to uphold professionalism.
At the gathering at the Deliverance Ministry headquarters, Prophet Igbodo, a well-known philanthropist, expressed gratitude for the journalists’ efforts and acknowledged their role as voices of the people in society.
Commending the journalists for their dedication, Igbodo encouraged them to prioritize balanced reporting and to continually advance their skills to keep pace with evolving societal issues. He described the media professionals as partners in his mission and voiced his pleasure at being associated with such committed individuals.
“You are great individuals. I never thought I would meet people as remarkable as you. Please, don’t rely solely on your past knowledge. Always strive to improve and stay updated with trending issues in society. Thank you for the good work you are doing.”
“Let us continue to work together to spread the message of Jesus Christ to the world. I can’t do this work alone; I need you now more than ever. Continue to promote Jesus Christ in my life and in the mission he has given me,” he added.
He concluded by sharing how God used him to establish a Widows’ Care Centre in Abavo and to purchase land for another Widows’ Care Centre in Umunede, re-affirming his commitment towards supporting journalists.
Responding on behalf of the journalists, the publisher of Ika Mirror, Mr. Augustine Ekamagule, expressed gratitude to Prophet Igbodo for his kindness towards them and praised him for prioritizing the welfare of widows.
