THE NYSC South-South Area Office 1 in Delta State recently hosted a grand ceremony in Asaba to honour the director NYSC, South South office, Alhaji Ladan Baba as he retired at 60, marking the culmination of a distinguished public service career.
Staff and well-wishers gathered to celebrate Baba’s legacy, with tributes lauding his integrity, humility, and unwavering commitment to excellence during his tenure.
In an emotional farewell speech, Baba expressed gratitude to Allah, the NYSC management, and his colleagues for their support over the years. He urged younger staff to uphold the scheme’s core values and remain dedicated to national development.
Event chairman Mr. Olusegun Alao praised Baba’s remarkable contributions to the NYSC, describing him as a role model of dedication and diligence. Alao noted that Baba’s passion for the organisation’s ideals had left a lasting impact.
