The Nigerian Southern Senators Forum yesterday expressed sadness over the demise of Sen Ifeanyi Ubah. Ubah (Anambra South) died yesterday in London.
Chairman of the forum, Sen. Adetokunbo Abiru, in a statement, praised Sen. Ubah’s significant contributions to business, the legislature, Anambra, and the nation.
Abiru highlighted Ubah’s remarkable achievements in the business sector, noting that his entrepreneurial ventures positively impacted the economy.
He commended his dedication and effectiveness as a legislator, saying his efforts were instrumental in shaping policies and advancing the interests of his constituency and the nation at large.
Abiru also lauded Ubah’s contributions to the development of Anambra, adding that his various initiatives brought progress and prosperity to the state and the South-East region.
He extended the forum’s deepest condolences to late Ubah’s family, friends, and the people of Anambra, the South-East and Nigeria.
“Sen Ubah’s legacy would continue to inspire future generations. May his soul rest in peace,” Abiru said.
