ALL is now set for the St. Pius Xth Grammar School, Onicha-Ugbo, Old Boys Association, 1979 Set, Reunion activities.
An official statement jointly signed by Messrs. Anthony Mordi and Celestine Ofuani, President and Secretary respectively, stated that the reunion event will take place on Friday, December 27, 2024.
The statement further explained that activities lined up for the reunion will kickstart with a concelebrated High Mass at the school chapel starting at 10.00am.
Other activities include a tour of the school, exchange of pleasantries and citations. This will be followed by a condolence visit to a classmate, Mr. Anthony Agwuibe, at Onicha- Olona.
Mr. Mordi added that the 1979 graduates of the school decided to organize the reunion after 45 years.
The President remarked that it might interest the set to recall that since our last paper examination on June 15,1979, some of the class mates have neither met nor seen each other, emphasizing that the occasion would offer mates the opportunity to do so.
According to the Chairman, Reunion Organizing Committee, Mr. Peter Emordi, the reunion activities will be rounded up with a Gala night at the Tulip hotels, Asaba.
