THE newly-appointed State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Delta State, Mr. John Kwaghe, has pledged to bolster collaboration with the Department of State Services (DSS) to enhance the safety and welfare of corps members in the state.
During a courtesy visit to the DSS State Director, Mr. Abraham Vandkah Ahidjo, Kwaghe commended the DSS for a steadfast commitment to safeguarding corps members across the state. He emphasised his dedication to strengthening the long-standing partnership between the NYSC and the DSS, recognising its crucial role in ensuring a secure environment for service delivery.
Introducing Mr. Kwaghe, the outgoing NYSC state coordinator, Mr. Olusegun Alao, expressed confidence in his successor’s ability to provide impactful leadership. “I am certain that he will further the positive strides we have made in supporting corps members and fostering collaboration,” he said. In his response, Ahidjo assured of his unwavering support, pledging continued co-operation to achieve shared objectives. He highlighted the importance of synergy between the two organisations in addressing security challenges and promoting a conducive environment for national development.
