THE determination of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to complete ongoing infrastructural projects has been stressed by the Director General of the State Capital Territory Development Agency (DSCTDA), Chief Patrick Ukah.
Chief Ukah said this when he, together with the member representing Oshimilli South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Bridget Anyafulu, inspected the flood control drain through the Ogbeogonogo Market to the Otuogwu Bay in Asaba to ascertain the level of work.
The DG noted that the ongoing construction work was part of the Governor’s effort to decongest traffic and ensure that residents of the state capital enjoy good and accessible roads.
According to him, the Ogbeogonogo axis is a highly populated part of Asaba and the contractor has done a good job in terms of the drainage. He assured inhabitants of the state capital that the project would be completed soon to ease traffic around the area.
