Umunede Monarch Addresses Hausa Community

The Obi of Umunede Kingdom, HRM (Dr) Ezeagwu Ezenwali has advocated for peace across his domain by calling on residents to abide by the peace and love existing in the kingdom.

The monarch, who made the statement when he addressed members of the Hausa Community in his domain, said that the Kingdom is a land of peace and hospitality.

He warned that he would not accept any act of criminality nor tolerate any person that would paint the town in a bad light among the comity of other kingdoms in the Ika nation.

The monarch urged them to sustain the existing peace between them and the Umunede People, as well as abide by the laws and regulations of the government.

He enjoined them to stay away from anything that would bring shame or a bad reputation to his kingdom, adding that severe punishment awaits any individual that would drag the good name of his kingdom into the mud.

He said that members of the Hausa Community in the area need a leader with an impeccable character, who he said, could effectively speak and represent his people anywhere and at all times.

In his remarks, Mr Haruna Miko, who spoke on behalf of his community, appreciated the monarch for his outstanding leadership and kind disposition towards the Hausa community in his domain.

He assured that they would continue to live in peace with the people of Umunede Kingdom whom he described as peaceful and industrious.
