THE Urhobo/Anioma United Youth Council, led by Comrade Austin Odedede, has lauded the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for approving the rehabilitation and construction of some roads in Delta Central and Delta North Senatorial Districts.
The group, in a statement issued by Comrade Austin Odedede – the President -General and Comrade Ugo Okoh, – the Secretary General of the group, and made available to newsmen, said that the approval of the road projects was prior to a letter written to the governor concerning the need to rehabilitate some deplorable roads in Delta Central and Delta North Senatorial districts.
The group in the statement believed that when these roads were rehabilitated and constructed, it will accelerate the speedy growth and development of these areas, especially the ones in the rural areas.
The statement pointed out that the governor within one year and 10 months in office, had been able to prove his critics wrong with arrays of completed projects and ongoing ones across the state because of his desire to make a difference in governance of the state. The statement, while describing the Delta State governor as a courageous and promise keeper, prayed to God to give him wisdom and courage to continue to pilot the affairs of the state.
