THE Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Dr Emmanuel Sideso, Abe 1 has appreciated his people on the completion of the permanent palace of the Kingdom. The monarch made this known at the inauguration of the palace last weekend. He recalled that on ascending the throne in 2008, the building of a permanent palace in Uvwie Kingdom was one of his promises and that in November 2009; the foundation of the palace was laid with the support of the people.
The Royal Father however noted that during his 15th coronation anniversary two years ago, the planning committee incorporated the completion of the palace which he remarked is one of the best in Delta State. He also emphasized that the palace was not his personal property but belongs to the Uvwie people.
The new palace is a 6 bed room flats with a conference hall, chapel, library, arbitration hall, warehouse, visitors apartment, canteen, kitchen, security post, parking space among other facilities High point of the event was the Uvwie monarch cutting the tape to declare the palace open for use.
