THE Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Mobilization, Comrade Festus Uwamagbe, has hailed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, past, present leaders, traditional rulers and all Deltans for peace and unity in the state since creation 33 years ago.
In his congratulatory message to celebrate the state at 33, Comrade Festus Umamagbe who doubled as Chairman of IKA-NDO Host Communities Development Trust and National Union of Road Transport Workers, Ika South Branch B, Abavo, said, “As Deltans all over the world celebrate 33 years of our beloved state’s existence, I reflect on the remarkable journey that has brought us to this milestone. I honour the pioneers who laid the foundation, the leaders who have guided us, and the traditional rulers who have preserved our heritage”.
According to him “I pay tribute to the visionary leaders of the past and present leaders, who paved the way for our progress, your selfless contributions, foresight, and dedication have shaped our state into the thriving hub it is today”.
“I acknowledge the present leaders, who continue to build on the legacy of our founders. Your tireless efforts to drive development, promote peace, and empower our people are truly commendable”.
“I also salute our revered traditional rulers, who have been the custodians of our rich cultural heritage. Your wisdom, guidance, and unwavering commitment to our people’s well-being are invaluable”.
While wishing the state happy 33rd anniversary, he urged all Deltans to keep maintaining peace, law and order, and to rally round the State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori for effective delivery of MORE developmental projects to all in the state. He, therefore, prayed God to keep prospering the state and be hub for all-round development.
