MEN of the World Soul-winning Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM) in Ughelli, Delta State marked their anniversary on Sunday with a thanksgiving service, expressing gratitude to God for His protection and faithfulness over the past year.
The leader of the men’s group, Pa. Joseph Umukoro, spoke during the service, saying, “Today, we are grateful to God for sparing our lives and the lives of our families. We gathered here last year, and now in 2024, we are here, whole and complete, with no loss of life. God has granted us the privilege to ride in dominion.”
The service was further uplifted by a sermon delivered by Mr. Prosper Ajero, who took his reading from Deuteronomy 28:1-14. In his message, titled, ‘Riding in Dominion’, Ajero encouraged the men to have faith in God’s promises and follow His guidance.
“In today’s reading, God promises to make men the head and not the tail, but this is conditional upon their adherence to His commandments,” Ajero explained. “As leaders, men must obey God’s instructions to unlock His blessings.”
Ajero further reassured the congregation, stating, “God has never failed and will not fail. His word will always be fulfilled, and as Christians, we must draw strength from His promises.”
