NOT to fall prey to criminals this festive season, the Delta State Commissioner for Transport, Mr Onoriode Agofure has charged commuters to only patronize recognized parks across the state.
Agofure gave the charge as part of his safety and security advice, as many criminal-minded gangs scheme to exploit unsuspecting passengers.
The Commissioner warned that all commercial vehicles without the State colour of blue and white as well as without the Unique Identification Number Codes inscribed on them, should stay off our roads, or risk prosecution, as such operators could be regarded as criminals with intent to defraud or steal from innocent commuters.
He further added that “Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is much concerned about the safety and security of motorists, commuters and other road users across the State”.
